Aerial Arts Performance

IT’S SHOWTIME!

This program is for aerialists of all ages and levels who can execute basic skills and want to focus on the more theatrical elements of Aerial Arts including choreography, costumes and performance. Students will be coached and guided through easy-to-follow exercises that allow creativity, rhythm, timing and expression to emerge; turning a sequence of skills into a routine that both looks impressive and provides an engaging ‘story’ for the audience to witness and be drawn into!

Students will co-create personal performance pieces, tailor made for individual abilities, styles and musical preferences. IT’S SHOWTIME is for those who are willing and able to work both individually and together as a troupe, to become skilled artists and performers. The program culminates with a full show approximately 2-3 months after the start date.

PREREQUISITES:

· Able to participate fully in dress rehearsal 1 or 2 days before the show, and be present for run thru and performance on the date of the show.

· Proficiency in climbing, footlocks and inversions (basket or silks)

· Desire to add expression, feeling and flow to your aerial skills

· Willingness to try, practice and be coached in performance skills

· Focus and endurance to execute 1-2 minute sequence

What If I Need To Cancel?

Cancellations that occur at least 1 week prior to the scheduled start time will receive a refund of 50% of tuition paid. Cancellations that occur less than 1 week prior to the start time will not receive a refund.
